The graceful concave surface of these wedding rings belie the difficult gold smithing technique of anticlastic raising where special hammers are used extensively to raise up the edges on the rim. Sounds simple, right? Well, each ring takes hours of effort transforming a flat sheet of gold into a perfect soft silken look, each ring a unique artful accomplishment in 14k or 18k gold.

The artist calls these ribbons of gold, sinuous curls of beauty that are one of a kind. The diamonds on the edges remind me of stars in perfect orbit somewhere in a distant galaxy.
