Whether it is the wax carving of a master jeweler, the sketches of artisan designer who then crafts the unique ring or the infinite possibilities of computer graphics in the hands of an expert, never before has it been so easy or exciting to design your own ring.
A great example is a new one-of-a-kind creation for local couple Kathryn and Eric. Kathryn’s pink rose quartz oval measuring 10mm X 12mm was very special to her, first given by Eric in a sterling silver setting about a year ago. No other gemstone would do. Kathryn wanted to design another setting in white gold, her forever ring.
Many CAD options were created and discussed over intimate conversations with the couple, a most enjoyable opportunity exploring the wonders of computer graphics. Kathryn enthusiastically settled on a design, the gemstone was removed and re-polished…the project vision started to become reality. All along, updates were provided to Kathryn, her anticipation was building…her excitement was evident.
Plans were made to meet Eric so he could surprise Kathryn with her new ring. What a perfect plan he devised, selecting a private setting in a church where they first met across the aisle from each other. It did not take long for Eric to arrange the get together, and presto it was official. Within an hour, Kathryn texted me “I love it.” What a special couple.
